Three-wide move propels Moffitt to Truck Series win at Talladega
Brett Moffitt had an incredible three-wide move during an overtime restart to win the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. This was his first race of the 2023 season and his first victory on a superspeedway. Moffitt strategically maneuvered through traffic to take the lead and secure the win. The race had its fair share of drama, with a late accident forcing an overtime finish. Despite being a Playoff race, none of the Playoff drivers were able to secure the win, continuing the trend at Talladega. Moffitt expressed his joy and relief at finally finding success at superspeedways and hopes to continue performing well. Ben Rhodes finished second in the race, while Playoff driver Derek Kraus had a disappointing 19th-place finish.
